Hi everyone,

soon i will get one PPC (ipaq 210)because of the superior hardware in compare with the T/X and LifeDrive.
Ofcourse i won't say good bye to our favourite pocket software :) and i will have to use it via StyleTap.
I heard about the performance issues when running Bhajis on PPC platform and i am concerned how it will
work on the 210 model. I hope that the fast processor will handle it well but i cannot be sure.
Anyone who have some experience with Bhajis on PPC ?
Please let me know how it behave on your PDA.

10x & happy composing :)

I have RealPlayer and I get sound from that for MP3's, I also have virtual piano which sounds fine, and video plays fine too... I couldn't get Microbe to make any sound either except the occasional blip... I don't know what a bjm file is...

Do you get sound with other programs? What happens when you load a bjm file and play it? Do you have the same problem with Microbe? Pioopiooplayer?

i tried it out on the t5. i just don't find the tracker interface (which is what i use in the studio) to be ideal when it comes to stylus input. it's much easier to work with a piano roll type input (ie bhajis) imho but yeah, it's definitely a nice program.

I was looking for something portable to make musical sketches on, so I DL'd Bhajis demo for my treo 755p.

Normal, 312MHz, I can get up to 16 or 17 voices before it starts to slow down, 18 and it's really choking.

The sad part is, if I play a decently complicated synth line, it crackles on start of patterns even at low voices. I'm not sure why that is, there couldn't be more than 10 voices going and the volume is very low. It's just a piano-ish sine with a little chorus. Maybe something to look into...

So, anyway, I got Lightspeed. :)

Pushed up to 520MHz (!), I got to a pretty steady 29 lines before it reset on me. No crackles in the synths anymore, either. Great stuff!

Now let's see if my battery lasts more than 20 minutes.

Hey Olivier!

I remember the first time I saw your t-shirts available, I thought "Wow, he even had t-shirts made! How cool is that!"

I am thinking now about using Cafe Press for some fundraisers for my daughter's high school band here in the states.

Have you had good success using Cafe Press?

Anything that one needs to be aware of using them?

I don't want to get into something and find out afterwards that it wasn't a good move.

Also, I think that it is very cool that BL seems to have a continued life of it's own.

Hope all is well with you and your endeavors.
Are you using it on the T5?

Is the interface easily understood?

I was just blown away with the quality of the tone and the sample tune especially in regards to the pad like sounds.
BL does techno VERY WELL with all of the staccato type tones but when you try and create something with lushness to it, that is much harder to accomplish.
